Maternity Dress: Hot for spring/summer 09

It's a great summary of what's hot for spring/summer 09. If you are feeling lost of what to wear on this season, below tips may be ideal suggestions:

Trend 1: Flowy Dresses
Flowy Dresses accent a pregnant body so well. With or without leggings, bold prints or solids, bright hues or simple ebony and ivory. It seems you can't go wrong this spring with a flowy dress. Besides, every pregnant girl needs a gorgeous dress. Go belted to define your new pregnant tummy and add a cardigan or even a vest if it cools off.

Trend 2: Different Necklines
Necklines will give a new look to pregnancy. Be sure to include V-neck cuts and off-the-shoulder styles because they're already starting to be HOT this spring.

Trend 3: Bohemian Style
Bohemain Style is a big hit this spring. The best way to pull this off is to pair a bohemian styled piece with something a bit more conservative. Perhaps a bohemian skirt with a solid colored top.

Trend 4: Color
Color is a huge consideration for pieces this spring. An abundance of nudes offer a neutral palette which is perfect for adding a splash of color. Metallic liquid silver and gold is everywhere. Bright colors should be included such as lemon yellows, neon oranges, chartreuse, fuchsia and bright blues. Muted bright colors such as mint green and coral are also big.
Trend 5: Ruffles and Bows
Ruffles and bows dressed up simple silhouettes in the Spring 2009 Collections. Look for bows at the shoulders or hips and ruffles at hemlines.
Trend 6: Floral Prints
Floral prints are back again. Whether it is large blossoms or tiny flowers, floral prints always look great for spring. It works best to pair this look with a soft tank top or flowy tunic.
Trend 7: Oversized Jewelry
Oversized jewelry is a statement piece that can update any outfit. Huge chunky necklaces and chandelier earrings are a must. However, be careful not to wear anything too heavy.
Now that you've got an idea on what this spring is all about, pick and choose your items with confidence. Just because you're pregnant doesn't mean you have to compromise your desire to be up-to-date on all the latest fashions. Be bold, you can have fun with Maternity Clothes too!

Maternity Dress: Spring Maternity Fashion Trends 2009

It time to change your maternity wardrobe from heavy coats to lighweight jackets / cardigan & other spring maternity clothings.
Maternity dresses must be comfortable, trendy, flattering and designed to keep your belly controlled and composed.

Let check out:
Cute fair-weather maternity jackets that will flatter your bump.

Printed Halter Maternity Dress : One of the easiest to wear while pregnancy. Being too comfortable, they provide you with the much needed relaxation and minimize all types of strains on the bump. To look fresh during spring, try a printed halter dress in bright color. Also you can try lotus prints. They are a rage this spring. The straps of a halter dress give you much needed balance when tied behind your neck, while walking on the beach.

Maxi Maternity Dresses : When you reach the trimester, then comes the exclusive role of maxi dresses. As your belly starts getting fuller and fuller day by day, the loose fit cut of the maxi dresses becomes a necessity. Their design gives you a perfect shape despite the increased waistline and deteriorating silhouette.

Stretch Cotton Tunic Maternity Tops : A tunic top made of stretch cotton can be equally flattering like a maxi maternity dress. Such a tunic top is an all time hit spring maternity apparel and may top the spring maternity fashion trends, thanks to its sheer comfort, elasticity and flexibility it provides. It is available in various hues and textures.

Metallic Embroidered Maternity Skirts : Too enjoy the maximum coziness, nothing can match a knee-length skirt. It provides the maximum ventilation to the skin pores and reduces sweating while walking under the sun. In order to look trendy, buy a shimmering metallic knee-length skirt with embroidery all around. Pair with a tank top and sunglasses,

Maternity Dress: 6 Ways Wearing Maternity Dinner Dress

I must say I am very impressed with the 6 Way Maternity Dress, initially designed for maternity wear, but suitable for wearing by those not pregnant.

The fab six way maternity dress, it's perfect for all those parties, weddings and other functions you have whilst pregnant and is great for maternity evening wear. It's a great investment buy for pregnancy enabling you to ring the changes unlike any other maternity dress we've seen. It can be worn in a variety of formal maternity evening dress styles or as a maternity skirt throughout pregnancy; it also makes a great 4th trimester piece.

During your pregnancy you will have a number of formal functions to go to. These will range from weddings, parties, to formal lunches - imagine buying a new maternity dress every time you attend one of these events! The 6-way-maternity-dress enables you to have six different maternity evening dresses for the price of one!

Basically, it's a long black dress which is worn in six different ways from a maternity skirt to a maternity fashion dress to a glamorous maternity evening dress - perfect for all occasions. The 6-Way Dress can be worn as a Crossover, a Cap sleeve dress Strapless dress, a Halterneck dress, a One shoulder dress, and a maternity skirt.

The 6 way dress is made up of a long skirt, a bandeau (which is worn around the bust or the tummy), and a wide, tapered piece of fabric attached just below the bandeau which forms the ties in many of the dress versions. The fabric of the maternity dress is soft and drapey (not clingy), and has a stretch. The bandeau is snug fitting, which means it can provide support for the bust when worn as a dress, and for around the tummy when worn as a maternity skirt

It's hard to believe that this maternity dress is as flexible as it seems, and as easy and comfortable to wear. When we tried our maternity sample we were really impressed! Each maternity dress comes with a set of easy instructions. These show six main ways to wear the dress, with a few variations also explained. You'll probably find even more ways to wear it!

Maternity Dress: Dressing In Black & White

Every season some colour is touted as being the hottest new thing, but somehow classic black & white always remains in fashion.

Dressing in black and white is the rules of black being slimming and white adding width still apply but how to wear to get yourself look more fabulous in black & white?

Everything looks smaller in black.
During pregnancy some lucky people seem to limit their size increase to growing a beautiful compact bump out the front, while the rest of them stays exactly the same. But for many of us, pregnancy is a time when we grow…and grow…and what used to be our waist has well and truly disappeared by the end of the second trimester, or even earlier. If this sounds like you, if your bump is sizeable and you’re feeling…ahem…very curvaceous…then a little fashion ‘black magic’ may be called for.
Pregnant actress Jessica Alben(seen here well into her pregnancy, and she is rumoured to be carrying twins!) used black to cover it all up at a recent appearance.
If you are going to choose for your maternity dress in black and white clothing is polka dots, make sure they are oversized. Small polka dots will date you. Any large graphic black-and-white print is popular, and you can kick it up a notch or tone it down a notch by what you pair with it. A lime green tank with a black and white floral skirt draws attention, while the same skirt with a black sweater calms the look down. Put the tank under the sweater and you are ready to go from work to a night on the town.
Black and white is generally a more pulled together look, but if you want to wear black and white maternity clothes, you are looking great in a pair of black-and-white checked shirt with your favorite material jeans.
Black shoes are versatile and probably something you already own, but black shoes with white details pack more punch and help pull the outfit together.
For your jewelry accessories, you can go all the way with black and white enamal bangles or cuffs. Otherwise choose to add a shot of color with multicolored strands of necklaces or add some shine with a mix of silver and gold.

Pregnant celebrities, such as Angelina Jolie, Gwen Stefani and Jessica Alba, were the inspiration behind many fashion trends this year.

The New Year’s Eve Party, The Most Important Party of the Year, is right around the corner and you still don’t know what to wear?

Still not sure? Follow this guide lines.

Adding some new life to your Little Black Dress can be as easy as finding the right accessories. Look for bold statement jewelery, such as Tiered Disc Necklace. Another fun option would be a chunky gold cuff. One rule with statement jewelery — make sure you only wear one piece at a time otherwise it will overwhelm your look.

Another easy way to make your Maternity Dress stand out is by wearing some shoes with a little bling. Details like sequins, jewels or fun fabrics like suede will all make you stand out in the crowd.

Maternity Dress: Maternity Fall Fashion 2009

With everything constantly changing each season, (the leaves, your belly, the trends) it may be a bit hard to keep up. When a new style comes in for the season the Trend Setter doesn't always accommodate for all the pregnant women.

Most of the time our bellies won't fit in all the cute new styles. So we have gathered up some tips for this fall so you can still look fashionably up to date.

A TAILORED MATERNITY JACKET

There is a return to tailoring and sophistication this season. While we won't do to well in a tailored waist dress, who said we can't do a tailored jacket. Be sure to purchase a tailored maternity jacket since it will be the base point of every woman's wardrobe this season. The great thing about a tailored maternity jacket is that it can give your wardrobe personality. It's the thing you can build around. Tip: Mix it up with a fitted comfy dress or your favorite designer maternity jeans and some boots.

MASSIVE NECKLACES Well

This is something we haven't seen for quite some time. Necklaces with colored stones and crystals that are big, inventive and architectural. While most will be able to pull off these massive necklaces we need to be on the more careful side. We don't want to wear anything that gives off too much attention because it will take away our belly. Tip: Look for more simple necklaces with medium to small sized stones and crystals.

TOP-HANDLED BAG

If you change anything up this season be sure to replace your slouchy-pouchy hobo purse with a ladylike top-handled bag in a yummy fall tone of aubergine, putty, camel, dark green, or chocolate. It doesn‘t matter how much you spend on the bag just know that you have an on-trend must-have. Tip: If you're like me and can't seem to break your black bag habit, then at least try to choose a black with a little shine, a crackled finish, or some hardware that really lifts the black up.

BANGIN' BOOTIES

Whether it's the scrunchy boot, a mid-calf, or an over-the-knee boot, we think the boot is the most important shoe of the season. We love them with heels, stilettos, or flats...we love them all. It's really about a boot wardrobe this season. And it looks fantastic with every single item in your closet. Tip: Pair your boots with a flowy maternity dress.

A SENSATIONAL SHIRT

No longer just for secretaries or 80's working girl, the bow-neck shirt is a pretty way to freshen up for fall - provided you proceed with a healthy dose of fashion-forward. If you're wearing a bow shirt, it shouldn't be too conservative. You don‘t want to look like you‘re running for office. Look for a feminine and pretty version with small ruffles. Tip: Pair with an edgy boot or accessory.

THOU SHALT NOT's

BABYDOLLS If it's too voluminous, it needs to go. Put baby dolls in the back of the closet! Those need to go away for a while because we really are celebrating the natural shape of the body, curves and all, with a longer, leaner more tailored silhouette.

BIG PANTS While it's a great season for trousers, not all pants need apply. Be sure that your pant doesn't have too big of a flair.

FAB FLORALS, NOT PAINTERLY PRINTSThe painterly splashes we saw were very much the print of the season, but obviously that's a summer look, so put that back in the back as well. Switch them out for a lighter, more natural floral with a dark background so it looks more relevant to the colder weather.
